The wait is finally over. After months of speculation, Ford has finally revealed the new 2024 Mustang. Ford themselves say that the new 2024 Mustang has a completely rethought interior, and within that interior is plenty of luxury and technology as well. Ford themselves say that the exterior of the Mustang is chiseled, but there is nothing chiseled about the interior. Ford has gone for a fight-jet inspired cockpit, with two lovely, flowing and curved displays that allow for quick and easy customization from the driver. The centerpiece of the interior is the 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, that can have various animated designs customized onto it, and there are new visuals dependent on the selected drive-mode. Ford has utilized the Unreal Engine 3D creation tool, which is now used in many modern video games. Another shift comes with the default instrument gauge setting. Where they would previously be the traditional cool blue and light grey tones, Ford has now gone for what they say is an “ultra-modern copper appearance”. This is shared with the Mustang Mach-E crossover. Virtually everything in the displays of the interior, including the ambient lightning, can be fully configured to selected tones with the instrument cluster adapting to the selected drive mode. The cluster itself can be configured to seamlessly flow into a 13.2-inch SYNC 4 center stack, behind some integrated glass angled towards the driver. While not everyone gets too excited over car stereo systems, Ford has made every effort to ensure we have the best audio system possible with the new Mustang. Available on this latest Mustang is a B&O sound system, fully optimized for the interior of the car. We do of course have a radio, but like most modern cars, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both available in the 2024 Mustang and fully compatible with SYNC 4. Ford has really stepped up the game with the tech available in the Mustang. Amazon Alexa is built-in with Ford Streaming, allowing voice commands to play your music or podcasts. Ford Power-Up software update capability is another feature carried over from the Mach-E. On the centre console, you are able to incorporate a wireless phone charging pad, and there are new overhead USB ports installed above the cockpit of the car which help to prevent your wires draping across the whole cabin. While the interior décor itself is not luxury SUV standard, it is still very good. The Mustang has a standard cloth interior, with all-cloth seats that also have optional micro suede vinyl inserts and black seat belts available. Premium models however can offer so much more. Upgraded wrapped, and accent stitching can go across the instrument panel and the door trim. The EcoBoost models of the Mustang feature Ford’s ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery with all sorts of color options. For those with the GT models, you can have leather seat inserts as well. Elevating The Mustang Into The Best One Yet Whether you are most excited about the interior, the exterior or the engine in this car, Ford has really knocked it out of the park with the newest Mustang.
