Office goers can look forward to an extended CNY holiday and a long Christmas in the coming year.

The Hong Kong government has announced the dates of 17 general holidays for 2023. Though there are three holidays that fall on a Saturday, that won't hinder employees from enjoying EIGHTlong weekends in 2023.

Note from the government:
- As the first day of January and National Day in 2023 both fall on a Sunday, the day following them will be designated as a general holiday in substitution.
- As Lunar New Year's Day in 2023 falls on a Sunday, the fourth day of Lunar New Year will be designated as a general holiday in substitution.
