08/05/2023 Excellent spin and grip Review by Kamal Das Quality I had been using boosted Chinese rubbers for FH. Recently based on reviews, thought of giving Omega V Asia (max thickness) a try. At first, I felt like it's way lighter than Chinese rubbers. So it took me some time to adjust but now am taking advantage of the lightness and it's giving me awesome outcome! Loop and serve are rewarding!

Overall, a nice affordable rubber for FH!

22/02/2023 good Review by Ardak Quality For this price there are better rubbers. Or it doesn't suit my game. It feels soft. No enough power. It plays for BH, but it is not for FH. I thought omega rubbers are better than vega but I was wrong. Vega japan is better. 04/03/2022 Speed and control Review by Luigi Leone Quality This is my forehand rubber of choice. I tried many rubbers: medium, soft, hard, and sticky Chinese, but this rubber for me is the optimal compromise. Hard and a little sticky but has nothing to do with Chinese rubbers. Flat trajectories in rallies are great for smash and drives. Very good control in blocks, you can direct the ball with high safety. Fast topspin opening and if you loosen the grip also slow topspin is possible. Top-quality rubber. 08/12/2021 For beginer and Intermediate Review by chanyang Shin Quality I think for beginners and more intermediate players. 01/09/2021 Good rubber, very fast . Review by Antoniu Iancu Avram Quality Perfect rubber for offensive players. 01/12/2020 Good Review by Irvodon club Quality Ajoyib 04/03/2019 Excellent rubbers Review by Jerry Quality I have used the rubber for FH and felt its power. So, bought two pieces of them again this time. I really like it. 14/12/2018 ONE OF THE BEST FH RUBBER Review by DAVID HESSLING Quality I love medium hard rubbers and this one is superb, excellent spin and control, great speed too. I like Chinese style and I played with some Hurricane 3 Neo and Nittaku H3 Neo (unboosted), OVA is better. Highly recommended. 03/07/2018 Excellent Review by vinod nair Quality I very much missed the Tenergy series, have played with 64 and 80 FX, but for the cost and poor durability I wouldn’t have ditched the Tenergys, my quest for a replacement began and looked like never ending, but until I bought XOVAsia, great forehand rubber, equally good from close and far, sufficient to lift heavy backspin and at the same time great composure while counter topspining. Good for service I think a complete rubber, great price and service from TT11, thankyou.. 02/04/2018 One the best FH rubber Review by Arman Zhumagaliyev Quality Great ratio of speed, spin and control. 22/02/2018 Good Review by Kruno Quality Very bouncy and heavy rubber, requires good technique to bring all the power out. 05/02/2018 Excelent Rubber Review by Marcelo Cordero Quality Excellent for blocking heavy topspins and fast loops. Pure control.

Excellent service from tabletennis11.

Review by Dino Midzic Quality Fantastic rubber, great spin and angles, with super control!! 22/05/2017 Great Switch From H3 Review by Robin Lin Quality Love this rubber. I'm using for max for both fh and bh coming H3(fh) / 05(bh). Perfect rubber to switch from Chinese. I play Chinese style and didn't need any time to adjust to this rubber when I switched. It was just perfect for me. More power, great control. No as fast as tenergy but I have much better control. I can highly recommend this rubber. Only thing is that it hasn't been very durable for me. Usually need to change fh after a month of use. Bh lasts much longer for me, maybe up to 3 months. 14/05/2017 Great rubber. Review by Cesar Gonzalez Quality Omega V Asia has less arc than Omega Tour or Europe...

One of our most powerful player in our national team is using it. Very explosive, a lot of spin and control. Also very durable rubber. This is a high-end product you can rely on.

12/05/2017 Great all round rubber Review by John Fitzgerald Quality I made the mistake of ordering a max sheet of this rubber, 2mm would have been best in retrospect. I use a Mizutani ZLC blade, which I feel has a softish feel anyway. The rubber is very big on control. Counter looping is easy. In my opinion, this rubber really needs to be partnered with a very good blade. The Mizutani is a fabulous blade in my opinion, with such a huge sweet spot, it makes playing table tennis so much easier. Ironically the Asia rubber falls into the same camp. Therefore I have a combo that while very nice to play with, could do with a bit more bite. Maybe then the Asia would suit a slightly harder blade than the Mizutani ZLC. However, it is highly possible a 2mm sheet will put things right for me. So to summarise: a very grippy, spinny rubber with many gears to suit drop shots and power loops and smashes. It has a softish feel so may need to be partnered with a blade with a hard outside veneer. 09/05/2017 awesome rubber Review by andy spring Quality this rubber is great for everything spin speed control by far the best rubber i have used and i have tried most of them and as always a top service from table tennis 11 18/03/2017 Great Control and Sound! Review by James Watson Quality I was looking for a rubber that would help in the control department as my KillerSpin rubber was great at pushing a ball back with even more pace for a setup shot, but lacked on hitting the table when I went for the kill. The Omega V Asia fixed that problem. Swinging at balls a couple steps from the table felt and sounded great. On medium-hard shots with a lot of top spin it sounds as if the ball is burning rubber with a click sound mixed with a high pitched squeak. A hard shot produced only a click while an easy shot sounded dull.

This rubber did not fatigue my hand any more than usual despite it being heavier than other rubbers I have used.

Players I couldn't even take games from in best of 3 sets were being pushed to their limits right from the start, and I was eveing taking a game, so I was glad to see an improvement in my game with the rubber. Players that didnt want to play me due to my lower skill wanted to play me.

The amount of spin produced by the paddle is nothing amazing, and it does skightly reduce the spin effect of my opponents. Many players at my club use a wind shield wiper serve to put side spin on the ball. My old rubber was unpredictable with how much the spin would alter my shot. I was able to change my blade angle and consistently return shots where I wanted.

There were two issues I had with the paddle. The first is my black rubber started to have the inverted pimps revert in a cluster. I clean the paddle after each day/evening of play with Xiom cleaner. I contacted Xiom with pictures and they didn't respond. Poor customer service. This only happened with the black sheet. The second thing I did not like is that with my KillerSpin rubber a pushing block would counter shots to put me back in control of points (when the control was right). The Omega V asia, which is a harder rubber like the KillerSpin, did not give me that sling shot effect on pushing blocks. That maybe why the control is better on the Omega V, but it is still a quality I miss.

15/03/2017 Just love this rubber Review by Mudit Tewari Quality Its on the heavier side but if you are fine with that then you would just love what you can do with it. It has great spin and speed characteristics. The higher throw angle helps. It works better with Poly balls. 01/03/2017 Hard and aggressive Review by Daniel Park Quality This one I assembled for my friends penholder racket. Upon rallying, I couldn't tell much difference against Tenergy. Great rubber, hard, and spins very well. 27/02/2017 1.8 mm and 2.0 mm Review by Emiliyan Grozev Quality Excellent !!! 26/01/2017 Perfect rubber Review by Dino Midzic Quality Perfect rubber with fantastic spin and enough speed to habe perfect shoots with great control 24/01/2017 Long lasting, high performance Review by Lon Sharp Quality This is a fairly fast rubber, provides excellent spin and has been my go-to choice for several months. 12/01/2017 Too hard Review by Sam Quality Close to table rubber. Hard to drive from mid distance. 05/01/2017 Good, tacky and fast rubber. Review by GARRY G. Quality I have 2.0 for thickness. I use for forehand. This rubber has good tackiness, spins the ball well. Pretty fast speed. Good for offensive players. Control is pretty good. I'd recommend this rubber. 27/11/2016 Good price Review by Arman Zhumagaliyev Quality I haven't had a chance to try it. Still unpacked. 27/10/2016 Fast FH elastic rubber Review by Valeriy Osadchyy Quality More speed and catapult than Vega Asia DF. The 1.8 on BH has lots of control and is also quite easy for spinny returns. On FH I had to adjust in comparison to the Omega Europe rubber. The hardness of the Asia rubber definitely can be noticed in comparison with the Omega Europe rubber. FH blocking of spins for example ended up in the net quite frequently. So needs some more hours to get used to. 18/05/2016 Very good Review by eugen tanase Quality Nice rubbers. Good spin. Harder then omega 5 pro. Better feeling for topspin. Rather heavy at first but within couple of plays the feeling dissaper. Highly recommend as alternative for tenergy for half price. 18/05/2016 great for my penhold forehand Review by Lon Sharp Quality I found OVA to be a step up from TG3 Neo, more alive than MXS, more durable than OVP. It is my forehand rubber of choice for foreseeable future. 16/05/2016 Everything was good. Xiom Omega V Asia is a high quality... 01/05/2016 Very good FH rubber Review by David Ling Quality My FH rubber for Xiom Vega Tour. Very good control, spin, blocks, topspin and serves. It takes some time to get used to it. It is one of the best FH rubber. 25/04/2016 Excellent Product Review by Pamela Santelices Quality Muy buen producto... 01/04/2016 Good Review by Kevin L. Quality Good price, I got it in weekly special.

The rubber is quite soft, compared other omega and sigma rubbers. It is marketed for plastic balls, and I found the very slightly tacky surface does help a little. It's not bad on my Strato blade.

What is the difference between Omega v Asia & o5a?

The O5A version has a softer topsheet and softer sponge at 50 degrees. At least with the Omega V Asia, you can sink the ball easier into the rubber while with the Omega VII Asia, even with just a little stroke, the speed produced is really fast. Think of it as a faster Tenergy 64 but has a very hard feel.

Is Omega VII Asia a Tenergy 05?

It has the same sponge with all the rubbers in the Omega VII series. So far, the Omega VII Asia has the hardest sponge at 52.5 degrees and topsheet cannot be even considered as soft like the Omega VII Pro. If the Omega VII Pro is more or less comparable to Tenergy 64 then the Omega VII Asia is the Tenergy 05 of the Omega VII Series.

Did xiom Omega v Asia get boosted?

The rubbers were not boosted. The Xiom Omega V Asia has been being described as a hybrid between European and Chinese rubbers. In terms of physical characteristics, Asia has more in common with other hard European rubbers like the Andro Rasant Powergrip or Tibhar’s Evolution MX-S rubber than DHS’ Hurricane H3 Neo or H8 rubbers.

How hard is the Omega VII Asia?

The O7A feels like a very hard rubber almost as hard as a 39 degree DHS Hurricane or feels as hard as Tenergy 05. The Omega VII Asia is built mainly for speed and power. Speed is very fast and it is almost as fast as the Rhyzer 48 wherein both rubbers are already under the extremely fast category of rubbers.
