Good

An affordable palette that gives a subtle contour. Would be great for beginners

  • Great for beginners

I've just started to use makeup and this is a very affordable and also nice baseline for any beginners out there who are looking around for a contour palette. It is also pigmented and there is a nice amount of product for the price.
  • Great kit for handbag

So, I have no idea about contouring but this palette was such a great place to start. I have naturally tanned skin and the dark and medium browns look great. The colours blend well and look natural (not like cakey makeup). Really happy with this product especially for the price! Keen to do some more experimenting.
  • Great product

Shades are nice on the skin and powders blend it really easy
  • lovee

i love this palette, perfect price and wonderful smooth application goes really well on the skin
  • nice!

I really liked it smooth application i used my fingers and it worked fine!! pretty good for price.
  • Get it for the bronzer shades!

Not the most pigmented palette, but the shades of the bronzers are perfect for light to medium skin tomes! I don't use the light setting powders as much but the slightly cooler tone bronzer is great for subtle chiseling and the warmer tone is a great bronzer.
  • amazing value

this product is awesome for the price you pay
  • Love it

I have lots of contour products - cream and powder. I have fair skin and it’s hard to find the right tone. The contour bottom right in this palette is perfect in tone and finish. It blends out beautifully and also layers on most of my foundations fine without powder.
  • Great

This is perfect and affordable. Great quality
  • solid contour game

This palette is a staple in my routine. I love that I can use it for daily makeup but then build for. Heavier contour at night. The highlight is very sheer so I used this to bake under my eyes
  • Affordable

Affordable contour palette, blends in nicely and looks natural
  • Good

An affordable palette that gives a subtle contour. Would be great for beginners
  • Good

This is an affordable palette and the pigments are amazing and natural.
  • Great contour product and so cheap

Such an adorable yet so beautiful and pigmented contour duo. Very nice and natural colour.. can’t go wrong with this one
  • Excellent value

The contour shade is perfect - cool mid tone without being too grey. Pigment is fairly strong so use a light hand. I apply it with a stippling brush then use a kabuki over the top to blend, the result is flawless. I don’t much use the other shades but the lightest matte is good for highlighting. For ref I have dry ageing skin.
  • good for the price

I think for the price this is nice. They're not the most pigmented or smooth powders but they are definitely workable, especially for the price!
  • Easy to use and good price

The colors are very natural and easy to use even for makeup beginners
  • very natural

this contour palette is best for a more natural look as they arent too dark and dramatic. it applies nicely and blend well for the price and the pigmentation is buildable too without looking muddy
  • Natural looking

I find this contour palette great if I'm not looking to fully contour, and aiming for a more natural look. The shades are great, and I utilise most of them for different areas of my face. They apply nicely and blend well. The pigmentation is buildable too.
  • Subtle but Nice

Lauren (Adore Beauty Staff) 6 years ago This palette is perfect for anyone new to contouring or someone who likes to keep a natural look I found the colour payoff was quite subtle and a little disappointing in the beginning but found that you can build if so desired. I think if you are wanting a natural daytime look this price is fantastic!

Awesome and affordable basic palette for a natural look!

The highlight gives a very subtle glow and all the other shades give a very minimal look to the skin, but they can be built up, which i prefer as it makes it hard to overdo! The powders do have a bit of kickback, but I don't mind due to the price! This is perfect for anyone with medium skin tones (from light/med to dark/med) who is new to contouring, wants a natural look or needs a palette suited...

Which contour is best for beginners?

What shade of contour is best for pale skin?

Pale skin tones generally fall into the cool undertone category, which means you should opt for cooler contour shades. Look for contour products with ashy or taupe undertones rather than warmer shades, which might appear too orange or muddy on fair skin.

How do I choose the right contour shade?

To find the right contour colours for your skin tone, take help from your foundation shade. While picking a contour shade, keep in mind that the colour should be at least two shades darker than your foundation to create the necessary shadows. But be wary of going too dark as it will end up looking harsh and patchy.
