This is a budget-friendly silicone-based primer that blurs pores upon application and makes your skin look smoother when applied under foundation. However, the effect doesn't last on my combination skin that can get oily around the T-zone and the sides of my nose. After a few hours as the areas get greasy and the effect is gone and skin looks even greasier than without the primer. It might work better on drier skin types though. This was my first primer I ever purchased! It was super affordable as I picked it up for half price and a little bit always went a long way! It is a silicone based primer so it is clear and it has a tacky like feel when applied to the skin. I have dry and sensitive skin and it worked fine for me! This drugstore dupe is amazing, it smoothes out my skin and once my foundation is applied the areas I put the primer look flawless. I find the foundation on my nose still stays put even though I apply primer there. It's affordable and gets the job done. I don't know if I would purchase a high end primer ever after this product. This primer is completely transparent (no tint), upon first applying, the formula does feel a little heavy and oily. I honestly didn't wanna put it on cause of how it felt, but as I worked it in a little more and pressed it into my skin, it became light weight and didn't have any oiliness to it. So the more your rub it in, the better effect you'll get. It's very important to only apply a thin layer, as it will leave your makeup slipping and sliding. Best way to apply is in circular and dapping motions. This will really work the product into your skin, to seal and blur any pores. Really focus the product on areas that you have the most pores eg: the nose, forehead, cheeks, chin etc. This product is great to blur out any fine lines under the eyes. I've had some great results. After being squeezed out of the tube it looks thick but it's actually easily spreadable. This product does what it claims to do, which is that it gets rid of my pores, however does not have the ability to control oil (this is coming from someone with combination skin - my T-zone is oily yet the rest of my face is dry.) After applying it my face felt velvet-like due to the silicone, it was invisible and it created an even base that allowed my foundation to glide on without any streaks or patchiness. For application be careful not to apply too much as a little definitely goes a long way. Using too much product or rubbing it too much resulted in the primer flaking for me. Overall it has a relatively cheap price, for a decent quality product - I wouldn't repurchase it though. As the pore eraser is silicone based applying it on top of glossy lipstick gets rid of the shine and as its' main ingredient is Dimethicone it's safe to use on your lips!
