Red Hot Chilli Peppers

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are coming to spice up the Lion City this February 16 2023. The rockers, who are still famous around the world despite being in their 50s and 60s, recently dropped their 13th studio album, Return of the Dream Canteen, featuring their hit single Tippa My Tongue. “Return Of The Dream Canteen is everything we are and ever dreamed of being. It’s packed,” the band said. RHCP’s tour marks the return of guitarist John Frusciante, who rejoined the band for a third go-round in 2019. Accordingly, Dream Canteen is populated with many lyrical and musical references to decades-old Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs. Backstreet Boys

Backstreet’s back, alright. Prepare for deafening screams as this 29-year-old group returns to Singapore this February 22 as part of their DNA World Tour. The band will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Be prepared to be blown away by immaculate voices, harmonies while you sing along to songs like I Want It That Way and As Long As You Love Me – come on, you know the words. Backstreet Boys’ fame proves that they just get better with age, and even the cheesiest actions-to-lyrics dance moves will make you want to join in.

OneRepublic

Grammy-nominated American pop rock band OneRepublic will be holding a concert in Singapore this February 28 at The Star Theatre. The show is part of the band’s OneRepublic Live in Concert Asia tour that will also see them performing in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Taipei and Tokyo. The band’s latest album, Human, which was released on Aug 27 2021, featured singles like Someday, Run, Somebody To Love, Wanted, Didn’t I, Better Days and Rescue Me, that have garnered a combined total of over 2.5 billion global streams. They recently released a new single, I Ain’t Worried, which is featured in Top Gun: Maverick.

Sting

Thumping rock and subtle funk await at Sting’s concert – happening this March 22 at The Star Theatre. The former Policeman will be performing his most beloved songs including Roxanne, Message In A Bottle, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic and Every Breath You Take at his My Songs concert, which kicked off as a Las Vegas residency in November 2021. The singer will also be accompanied by an electric rock ensemble. Concert goers will also be treated to tunes from Rushing Water and If It’s Love from his 2021 album The Bridge. Tickets go on sale beginning Tuesday, 22 November 2022 via www.ticketmaster.sg.

Blue

Get tangled up in Blue this Feb 9 as Antony Costa, Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe and Duncan James will be making an appearance at The Theatre at Mediacorp. This R&B-influenced pop band is best known for hits such as All Rise, One Love and If You Come Back. The band is one of the biggest British boy bands of the 00s, and has collaborated with stars like Elton John. They recently released their album, Heart and Soul, on October 28, the first in seven years. The new album features singles like Haven’t Found You Yet and Dance With Me. 

Blackpink

Blackpink will soon be in your area this May 13 at the National Stadium. This girl group has embarked on a world tour with opening performances in Seoul. They will be commencing their Asia leg of the world tour this January 7, in Bangkok. Sing along to tracks like Pink Venom and Shut Down from their Born Pink album, which has garnered 100 million streams on Spotify. Accompanied with precision-engineered choreography, expect nothing but a visual feast from Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé. Public ticket sales begin on November 24 from 10am onwards via Ticketmaster.

Westlife

Seems like Singaporeans will never be tired of the band’s slushy anthems. Westlife announced that it’s returning to our city after its recent concert during the F1 weekend. The band will be holding its concert on February 16, 17 and 18 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In addition to songs from their album, Wild Dreams, they will be performing their greatest hits such as Flying Without Wings, World of Our Own and Swear It Again.

Cigarettes After Sex

A Cigarettes After Sex show is exactly what it sounds like if you’re familiar with their music. Greg Gonzalez’s songwriting, accompanied with his gentle yet giant riffs and textures, makes the songs feel like you have a whole galaxy to yourself. Hit songs include Apocalypse, Each Time You Fall In Love and Cry. Keshi

Following his sold-out tour in Europe & North America, Casey Luong – or better known as keshi – has announced his HELL/HEAVEN Asia tour dates, delighting fans in Asia. The American singer-songwriter kicks off his Asia tour in late November, starting with Singapore and Malaysia, before proceeding to South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and Taiwan. He will be performing at The Star Theatre, Singapore this November 30.

Since his debut, keshi has gotten nearly 3.5 billion listens worldwide (with 5.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone). He made his first Billboard appearance when the skeletons EP hit #59 on the Top Album Sales chart. His recent full length album GABRIEL peaked at #4, which became the highest charting debut album from a new artist this year so far.

Kehlani

For slinky slow-jams, Kehlani’s upcoming concert this February 6 at the Capitol Theatre is where it’s at. Known for her silky-voiced ballads, the singer will be performing her latest album, Blue Water Road, to her fans. The tour starts in the UK and Europe in November and December. She will then tour in New Zealand and Australia throughout the month of January before beginning the Asia leg. Get your tickets here.

Wallows

As part of their Tell Me That It’s Over tour, Los Angeles indie rockers Wallows will be performing at the Capitol Theatre this February 15. The band is set to perform five concerts in Asia, including Philippines, Thailand, South Korea and Tokyo. The trio’s sophomore album Tell Me That It’s Over was released on March 25 and features 10 tracks from lo-fi post-punk to early-’90s dance-pop. Harry Styles

Cue the screams as One Direction’s breakout star, Harry Styles, will be performing in Singapore this March 17 2023. Styles will be performing songs from his album, Harry’s House, for one night only at the National Stadium. The concert in Singapore is part of Styles’ Love on Tour 2023 Asia leg, with other shows across the continent. This heartbreaker is known for his high-energy concerts and stylish dressing – occasionally spotted in a pair of high-waisted pants, a flamboyant top and bauble necklace. You're guaranteed a good time as his show – the singer's known to skip up and down the stage runway and getting the crowd to sing along to some of his greatest hits including As It Was, Adore You, Watermelon Sugar and Sign of the TimesGeneral public tickets are available starting from November 18, 11am onwards via www.ticketmaster.sg. 

Kehlani

Kings of Convenience

The Norwegian duo Kings of Convenience is coming to Singapore on March 6 2023 at the Capitol Theatre. Look forward to sublime melodies and vocal harmonies for a timeless folk piece to accompany the dreamy evening. The concert will feature songs throughout their four studio albums including Rocky Trail and Cayman Islands. Pre-sales are set to begin on November 10 from 3pm to 11.59pm local time for members of organiser Now Live Asia’s mailing list, with general public sales beginning on November 11 at 10am local time via SISTIC. Maroon 5

Pop band and Grammy award-winning artists Maroon 5 will return to Singapore as part of their world tour. The band recently announced on Instagram they will be adding six new dates as part of their Asian leg tour towards the end of 2022. The band will be making its stop in Singapore on November 28 at the Singapore National Stadium.

They will first perform at Quebec City and Orlando in July and August respectively, before heading to Asia. Singapore will be their first stop before heading to South Korea and Japan. They will be closing their world tour in Thailand on December 10. 

Maroon 5 last performed in Singapore in 2019. The band’s top-charting songs include This Love, Payphone, Harder to Breathe, and She Will Be Loved. The band recently released their seventh studio album JORDI back in June 2021, which includes celebrities like Megan Thee Stallion, Blackbear and Stevie Nicks.

Ticketing details for the event have yet to be announced but we'll keep an eye out for you.

Jay Chou

Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou will be hosting a concert in Singapore this December 17 and 18. He is set to perform at the National Stadium as part of his Carnival World Tour. Chou previously performed at the same venue for the same venue two years ago, shortly before the pandemic hit the city. The upcoming concert celebrates the Mandopop king’s over 20 years of achievement in the music industry. Tickets are priced from $218 to $388 and available to purchase on Ticketek Singapore.

ZoukOut 2022

ZoukOut is making a comeback this year! The highly-anticipated dance music festival is officially returning to Siloso Beach Sentosa in Singapore this December, after a three-year hiatus from 2019 to 2021. The theme for this year’s event is billed as The Futuristic City of Dreams, and it promises to “take party-goers on a journey that transcends time into a future of make-believe.”

Held across two days – December 2 and 3 – this year’s dusk-till-dawn dance music festival promises to be more electrifying than ever, with a stellar lineup to boot. Zouk Group has joined forces with AEG, the producers of world-renowned music festival Coachella, to bring this year’s event back to life. 

More details on the event lineup will be announced soon, along with the ticketing information. You can expect top-notch local, regional and global acts, along with the return of roving acts, food village and spectacular stage designs at this year’s event.
