Hi,
The WMI Performance Adapter Service entered a started/stopped state, is that the normal action for the service?
we have hp sitescope monitor solution which is depend on wmi to get data, but sometimes the sitescope server report that wmi service is stopped (RPC unavailable)
is there any solution from expert please
OS Running is : Server 2012 R2

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Based on my experience, the service WMI Performance Adapter isn't related to the WMI service regardless of it is started or stopped. We could type the command "tasklist /svc" in the CMD to assure that Winmgmt process is running as below.
Furthermore, please also check the event viewer logs if there's any error message related to Winmgmtso that we find more clue about this issue.

Plenty of fun times with memory leaks.
Does restarting the service fix your current problems?
Would restarting the service fix any memory leak if the service was set to automatic?
In the past we have selected times to restart services and then scripted the service restart.
