Con: Started making a high pitched whine a month ago. Thought nothing of it since I wear headphones while playing. Went to bed on Saturday and the computer was still working. Woke up Sunday morning, computer was still working, and the whine was the same. Left to go grocery shopping. Came back to computer off. I thought there was a power surge. Checked all the cables, nothing was wrong. Wouldn't boot. Couldn't figure out what caused the short. On a guess pulled out the video card. Computer booted up. Put the card back in, computer wouldn't boot. This card is dead and I've only had it since December. It isn't even July yet. |
