The wife, 6 kids and I went there for some lunch after a nice day at the beach. We found this place and thought we'd try it. Since we have a large crew we ordered a Vaquero meal and extras to feed 6-8, spending nearly...$100. The lady asked if we were going to eat there or take it to go. We said here, and she told us that we can't eat the "Vaquero" meals in their restaurant. It doesn't say anything about that on the paper menu we had, at all. So we told them we would go somewhere else to eat if they didn't want us in their restaurant. We were just hungry and my kids wanted to eat. So we waited for the food, when it came there were NO utensils or plates to eat with. So I went back inside to ask for some cutlery so we could eat our food. The lady told us we needed to purchase them. I have never in my 25 years of restaurant/catering experience ever heard of such a nonsense rule. In fact it's 100% the opposite. When people order that much food, whether it is to go, pick up or catered. You always provide your customers with utensils to eat with. I'm severely upset because we are from out of town and have never been treated like that before. We don't have plated and cutlery packs in our hotel to eat with. I will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know this story. Besides that. The food was just ok.More
