The next question on everyone's mind is how much the 2023 GMC Canyon will cost. Unfortunately, a confirmed 2023 Canyon MSRP range is not currently available, but take a look at the 2022 Canyon trucks in our new GMC inventory, and you can get a sense of the 2023 GMC Canyon price range.

Most of the same trims from 2022 will remain on offer for 2023. These trims will include the balanced, budget-accommodating GMC Canyon Elevation, the stunningly luxurious GMC Canyon Denali, and the all-terrain exploring GMC Canyon AT4.

However, a new face is joining the lineup: The 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X. It, essentially, is a souped-up GMC Canyon AT4, riding high with all the off-road upgrades on your wishlist.

2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Details

Imagine how you'd outfit your perfect off-road exploration truck. It probably looks like the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X.

This newly-minted beast rides with 10.7-inches of ground clearance. It faces obstacles head-on with a 36.9-degree approach angle, mitigates said obstacles with skid plates, gets a grip with 33-inch mud terrain tires, holds on tight with front and rear e-locker differentials, soaks up the worst with cutting-edge Multimatic DSSV suspension dampers, and handles high-speed trails with a widened track.

Choose the AT4X and the Edition 1 Package to add exclusive off-road benefits. With this dynamic-duo equipped, the 2023 GMC Canyon features underbody cameras with integrated washers, an off-road front bumper with a bullbar and light bar, a COMEUP winch in that front bumper, a performance front skid plate, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, and even more. The 2023 GMC Canyon Specs & Engines

The full range of 2023 GMC Canyon engine options has not been confirmed, but we expect fan-favorites like the 2.8-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel to remain on offer. However, one new engine detail has been confirmed. Namely, the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X will feature a standard 2.7-liter turbocharged high-output four-cylinder engine with 310 horsepower plus 430 pound-feet of torque.

As for cab/bed configurations, we expect the same options to stay available, including the work-conquering Extended Cab model with its 74-inch long bed. The towing capacity should rise over the 2022 model (which can tow a maximum of 7,700 pounds1 when properly equipped), and overall, the 2023 GMC Canyon capabilities will retain the competitive hauling spirit you're familiar with.

The 2023 GMC Canyon Interior Redesign
