About FIRST Championship 

Hosted by FIRST headquarters, FIRST Championship is a culminating, international event for our youth robotics competition season and an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for our community as we prepare young people for the future. Qualification and advancement to participate in FIRST Championship varies by program.

Flat Organizational Fee

Flat Organizational Fee of $650 for up to 22 team registrations (US).

  • Organizations are defined by the location of the hosting
    school or group
    • Each school in a district is recognized as a different organization.
    • Team Base Numbers do not change
  • If Organization exceeds 22 teams, additional team registration fees or multiple flat organizational fees for all teams in the organization will apply.
  • Registration fees for non-US teams and organizations will be determined by the area RSM

  • Organization 1234  has 1 team - Registration fee is $200
  • Organization 9876  has 2 teams - Registration fee is $350
  • Organization 5678  has 4 teams - Registration fee is $650
  • Organization 4678 has 22 teams - Registration fee is $650
  • Organization 3334  has 68 teams - Registration fee is $2300
    • They will pay 3 flat organization fees to cover 66 team registrations
    • They will pay $350 to cover the remaining two team registrations

2023 VEX Robotics World Championship

  • Host City:  Dallas, Texas
  • VRC tentatively scheduled April 25-29 (AP Exams in US start on May 1)
  • VIQC will follow April 30 - May 4
  • RADC will be a separate event at a separate location in 2023

Who Won First Robotics Competition 2022?

We would like to shout out Team 1577 Steampunk, Team 4414 HighTide, Team 2539 Krypton Cougars, and Team 4099 The Falcons, for having an amazing alliance. Our alliance was very fortunate to emerge victorious after three incredibly tough and competitive matches.

What does a yellow card mean in First Robotics Competition?

Teams that display egregious behavior in the pit area, judging rooms, stands, or any other location of the tournament can be issued a yellow or red card for egregious behavior. Egregious or repeated (3 or more) Robot or Team member behavior at the tournament can result in a Yellow and/or Red Card.
