How much HP will the R7 have?

The 689cc CP2 engine with A&S clutch provides a torque-heavy output perfect for powering you out of corners on both the track and street. 74 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque ensure that this new Japanese model can compete with the likes of its rivals in this newly burgeoning super-twin market.

Is the Yamaha R7 faster than the R6?

The new Yamaha R7 completely dominates the short-stroke and highly strung R6 all the way up to 9500 rpm. At its peak, the R7 is making more-than 20 horsepower than the R6 at 7000 rpm. Between 3000 and 4000 rpm the YZF-R7 is making twice the torque of the R6. It's extremely impressive.

How fast can the 2022 Yamaha R7 go?

The Yamaha R7 maxes out at 231kmph, which is a tad faster than its arch-rival, the Kawasaki Ninja 650. What's unimpressive here, though, is the fact that the motorcycle creeps ahead after 210kmph and the digits change even slowly after 220kmph.

Is the R7 bigger than R3?

Because the R7 has directional arrows, its display is larger than the R3, making it a little easier to read. Both displays feature a signal strength meter, too, with the only difference being the R3 has five levels, and the R7 has eight.
